This
is a two story, double block residence with a half basement occupied
by two adults, two infants, four cats and two dogs.
Reported
Activity:
The
clients report that shortly after they moved in a few months ago
strange activity started to occur. Claims of an apparition of little
girl running through the home and her two children waking up with
scratches on their face or body were reported by the clients. On one
occasion, a soda can reportedly flew off a table towards one of the
children sleeping in a rocker. On other occasions, shadows are seen
moving at the bottom of the stairwell with no one there and a door
reportedly opened by itself.

EMF
(Electro Magnetic Field):
Standard
baseline readings were taken throughout the building with expected
spikes near electrical appliances. Constant high EMF fields were
present in every room of the home. It is believed that a combination
of old wiring and high outside magnetic fields from the power lines
in front of the house are causing the elevated fields.

Conclusion:
On
this particular date, investigators did not experience any paranormal
activity or record any evidence that would indicate a haunting is
taking place. Investigators did measure elevated magnetic fields in
almost every room of the home and outside around the front and two
side areas of the building. These fields are believed to be caused by
a combination of old wiring and the high intensity power lines
running in front of the home. Elevated magnetic fields could account
for some of the activity that has been reported such as seeing moving
shadows, headaches and a sense that they are not alone. These fields
can not explain other activity, however, such as the door closing by itself or
a soda can flying off a table. More information is needed to make a
conclusive decision on what is occurring at this residence and ThePPA
recommends that the clients look at several factors when activity
occurs such as where all of the pets are, who is in the house at the
time, what the combined emotional atmosphere is when they activity is
noticed and if the neighbors are currently home, all of which could
impact what is going on at the home. A log of events should be
started if further activity is noticed.
