The PPA Investigation at Parker House Tavern

This is a two story, four bedroom residence currently unoccupied.




Reported Activity:
The clients have reported weekly activity including hearing voices, seeing black masses, door knobs turning with the doors opening, furniture moving, being touched, the family dog barks aggressively and refuses to enter certain rooms at times, creepy feelings in the basement and people seeing apparitions.

VR3 (Digital Voice Recorder: mobile with investigators) No physical evidence captured on this device at the time of the investigation.
VR4 (Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in 2nd Floor bedroom directly in front of stairs) No physical evidence captured on this device at the time of the investigation.
VR5 (Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in 2nd Floor master bedroom) No physical evidence captured on this device at the time of the investigation.
VR6 (Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in dining room) At 12:22am, this device recorded an anomalous sound. No discernible words could be made out, however the sound is much like that of a young child. All investigators were in the living room at the time listening to psychic medium Michele Jones who was providing her impressions via speaker phone. Michele's voice can be heard in the background.  A recorder present in the living room with investigators did pick up this sound also, but very faintly, ruling out investigator contamination or an inflection in Michele's voice. The sound was much closer to the recorder in the dining room. The cause of the sound is unknown.  The sound can be heard at 7 seconds into the clip.

No photos of evidential value were discovered.




EMF (Electro Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the residence with expected spikes near electrical appliances.  High EMF levels were measured in the basement running along the ceiling and found to be caused by electrical wiring. No anomalous readings were recorded.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, investigators were not able to document any definitive audio, video or other evidence of paranormal activity. One anomalous sound was recorded during the investigation but the cause could not be determined.  No discernible words could be made out to indicate a true EVP, although the sound does sound like a young child.   

Based solely on this one night investigation, there is insufficient evidence to determine if a haunting is taking place based solely on physical evidence.  All reports by the clients were looked in to and investigators were not able to rule out any of the activity to normal causes with the exception of the creepy feelings reported in the basement. It is a possibility that these feelings may be caused by the high EMF fields in that area.

In order to help the family in this case, The PPA was assisted by psychic medium Michele Jones. Michele psychically picked up impressions of a male energy present along with a woman who Michele believed was the man's wife and several of their children. Michele guided members of The PPA in attempting to “cross” the spirits and felt it was successful. The PPA will continue to monitor the residence to see if there was a reduction in activity at this location and statistically document the effects of the psychic medium on the activity.
