Psychic Impressions:
Upon initially entering the Jim Thorpe Inn, Virginia felt an on going presence of spirits continuing their routine as if they were still back in their time. One spirit introduce himself as John to Virginia and explained how the Inn use to look. John told Virginia there was a bad fire, a flood and described the people who came in and out of the hotel. Virginia received information about a few famous people such as Buffalo Bill and perhaps a President also stayed at the Hotel. Virginia feels John follows the owner, David and his father, also named John, around the Inn. The spirit, John also explained to Virginia that he has shown himself to others. Virginia described John as tall and thin with dark hair.

Names that Virginia picked up while walking around the Inn that she feels are associated with the Inn and who are still moving around the Inn are; James who was a Bellboy, Harry or Henry and his wife Elizabeth, William and another prior owner with initials C.C. Virginia feels this C.C’s first name is Cornelius. Virginia also picked up Cornelius's first wife Margret or Martha there also. Virginia picked up the name of a female that was a guest of the Inn who had a broken heart over a married man. Her name was Madeline or Madelyn. Virginia also picked up someone who was aiding an ailing person, perhaps a Nurse and felt a female named Gertrude or Grace was attached to this situation. This female said she was there when President Taft was around or in office.

Additionally, Virginia picked up on a woman who was secretly meeting someone at the Inn to help move slaves safely through the area. Virginia felt that this woman later became famous for doing this.

Virginia also picked up on a man who she believes sold the Inn to the current owners. The last name sounded to Virginia like something like Allister or Callister but she could not catch how to pronounce the name correctly because it was quite different.

Rooms that Virginia felt had the most activity occurring in were, 210, 211, 212, 229, 310, 311, 312, 410, and the hallways, lobby and basement. All in all, Virginia feels the Inn is very much alive with the past and the past is still moving along simultaneously with the present.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular night, investigators looked into alternative explanations for much of the activity that has been reported over the years. One room in particular that The PPA focused on was room 211. Many reports of the TV turning on and off by itself have been reported in this room. During our time spent in that room, no transient RF transmissions or other anomalous magnetic or microwave frequencies were detected that may trigger the TV to turn on by itself. Investigators did not witness the TV turn on by itself but other factors were considered at the time such as no other guests occupied the neighboring rooms during the investigation. Quite often, similar frequencies from transmitting electrical devices may occasionally turn an appliance or TV controlled by a remote control on or off but without further analysis, it is difficult to say what the actual cause in room 211 would be at this time. Investigators did find an area of elevated EM fields in the basement game room coming from the emergency lighting units. The fields are high enough for someone who is sensitive to these fields to have some odd perceptions when in the EM fields area of influence. These fields can cause someone to feel like they are being watched, get a “creepy” feeling, feel nauseous and even see something out of the corner of their eye that really isn't there. If someone should report those feelings in that area, the high EM fields should be considered.

Investigators were not able to document any hard evidence by audio or video and no personal experiences were noted during the night. Being that investigators were not able to rule out eyewitness accounts of activity nor were they able to document any activity that would be considered paranormal, this investigation remains undetermined and further investigation needs to be conducted to come to a conclusive decision.

From a metaphysical perspective, psychic medium Virginia Centrillo independently confirmed many of the reported experiences and believes that many spirits are still occupying the Inn but does not feel that anything of a harmful nature is at this location and no one has anything to be concerned about.
