Three bedroom, two story house, 150+ years old, occupied by four adults, three dogs, and one cat.

Reported Activity:
The clients' home was passed down generation through generation and a few family members have died on the property. The clients moved into this house when one of their daughters was three years old. She began telling her father about things she saw or people who would talk to her at night who were long deceased before she was born. Her little brother, now 17, has also had strange experiences. Until recently, no one has ever felt threatened, however, the clients have three small grandchildren who are 1, 2 and 3 years old. The oldest grandson will sit on the staircase looking towards the top and have conversations, however, no one is there. There are times when the client's daughter is in the home alone and will hear footsteps and see shadows on the staircase. The family cat will no longer go upstairs to sleep at night and, any time its dark, will hide under the couch. The dogs seem to be aware of something, as well. They will not go upstairs to sleep at night. The clients are currently foster parents and one of the children claim a fan flew across the room at him. Another claims they smell perfume every night at 2:30 a.m. The clients believe that any activity in the house would be caused by deceased family members and are looking for validation of their experiences by having an investigation conducted.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the home with expected spikes near electrical appliances. No anomalous readings were detected.

Psychic Impressions:
As Virginia entered the home, she was greeted by the spirit of Ella. Ella is the Mother of the owner. Ella began telling Virginia how their home has changed a lot and it was not the same. This made Virginia feel very disoriented. This information was confirmed by the son/homeowner. As Virginia began the walk- through of the home with the owner, she felt she should go upstairs and again, Ella told Virginia nothing was the same. Ella showed Virginia her bedroom and began telling her that she had lost a young child with a B name and this had broken her heart. This information was confirmed by the son. Ella was not trapped and appeared to be the matriarch of the family. Although there were other spirits of family members there, Ella would not allow them to speak. During the investigation, Ella made it very clear to Virginia that the whole family was together in the spirit world, very happy staying in the home with their living family and that was all Virginia needed to know.

Findings: Virginia picked up a soldier with a big mustache who was wounded in the leg, which is the owner’s brother who passed away. The owner took Virginia outside on the porch where she picked up a man who took his own life. This was the owner’s great-grandfather. Virginia also picked up another tragedy which took place across the way. She picked up graves of animals and American Indian graves towards the back of the home. This was confirmed by the owner. Virginia also picked up the energy of a male who passed near the kitchen and a female who died in the dining room, which used to be a bedroom. This also was confirmed by the owner.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, investigators were not able to document any physical activity via audio, video or other means. No personal experiences were noted and the home was quiet. Investigators were able to rule out common causes of “perceived” paranormal activity. There were no elevated magnetic fields which could cause a person to experience some events that they may think were paranormal, but were in fact caused by the high magnetic field. With the lack of supporting physical evidence of a haunting at this location, scientifically we can not determine if any spirits may be present.

Metaphysically, Virginia was able to confirm for the owner that the spirits of their family were still present and no “cross overs” were necessary. The clients felt strongly that the activity they were experiencing was caused by deceased family members who still visit the home and this was confirmed by Virginia. Virginia also felt that one of the client's daughters was very open and had her Grandmother's gift. Virginia felt that the Daughter did something to open the veil to the other side and the Daughter did confirm this. Virginia provided this daughter with information in order to learn to harness her gift and protect herself on a psychic/spiritual level.
