Location Status:
Four bedroom ranch style residence occupied by three adults, three teenagers, six dogs and two birds. Three pigs, five horses and goats are also present on the property in an area with stables.

Reported Activity:
The clients have lived at this residence for the past five to six years. The clients reported the activity was periodic when they first bought the house but became more severe since November of 2011, occurring on a daily basis during the day and again late at night. The clients have reported hearing voices, seeing shadows and doppelgangers. The clients have been scratched, many animals on the property have mysteriously died and items go missing with some being later returned and others never coming back. One of the client's daughters was reportedly pushed down receiving a broken neck from the fall. The clients also related that one of their dogs was thrown down a set of stairs and often barks and growls at something they can not see. The clien'ts birds seem to be spooked all the time and one of the birds has started making a growling noise. The client stated she had a priest come to the house and the activity got worse. A local paranormal team was called in by the client and they claimed to have recorded dozens of EVP'S but none were ever provided to the client to review. By having The PPA investigate, the client was hoping to find out why any entities are there, why they want to cause harm to the family and pets and ultimately to get them to leave. The clients also want the items that they believe the entities took to be returned.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the home with expected spikes near electrical appliances. No anomalous readings were detected.

Psychic Impressions:
As Virginia and assisting Psychic Medium, Jack Olmeda arrived at the property, the client directed them to walk the rear of the property towards the area of their stables where the farm animals reside. Virginia and Jack’s initial impressions were that there is a presence of American Indian and Civil War soldier energies around the property. They also feel that the animal deaths that the client was reporting was due to human action and not spirit.

When Virginia entered the residence to perform the initial walk-through of the home, she was immediately poked in the eye and her contact fell out. Virginia felt that there was a presence that did not want her gathering information from this home. As Virginia began the walk through, she received impressions of domestic violence, alcoholism and drug abuse. The client confirmed this information. The client also informed Virginia that material items were missing from the home and she felt that this was attributed to a spirit. In reality, Virginia felt that human action was again responsible for these occurrences and not a spirit of any kind. When Jack independently performed his walk-through of the home, he picked up on much of the same information that Virginia received.

Virginia and Jack both believe that the family dynamics in this home created an over-saturation of negative vibrational energies, overshadowing the true cause of the activity and that the negative family energies have drawn negative spirits towards them. Virginia and Jack both agree that the family must first accept their responsibility in the above matters and then consciously chose to unite and realign their energies before any real attempt at moving spirits out of the home could be attempted without the activity reoccurring.

Conclusion:
During the course of this investigation on this particular date, investigators had one personal experience. Virginia reported a feeling like she was poked in the eye when she first walked into the house causing her eye to tear. No other experiences were noted by investigators and no physical evidence was documented. Nicole, the PPA'S biologist, and Jim, The PPA'S wildlife specialist, noted that many of the farm animals on the property seemed to be a little malnourished and had an inadequate diet. This could be a contributing factor to the death of the animals. Through interviews with the client, The PPA learned that there was a lot of fighting and discord going on in the home, along with some drug and alcohol use inflaming the situation. From a physical perspective, The PPA was not able to confirm or dismiss that a haunting was taking place at this location but, if paranormal activity was present, severe negative behavior by the family, that appears to be present at this location, could aggravate the activity even further or even draw in additional negative activity. Additionally, The PPA questions the information from the first paranormal team that was provided to the client and the lack of physical evidence that was reported to have been documented by that team but was never shown to the client. Assumptions were made from the many EVP'S that were reportedly recorded during the local teams investigation and from results from the use of a “Ghost Box”. The Ghost Box is a very controversial piece of equipment and usually not accepted by the professional paranormal research community. The sheer volume of EVP'S and “Ghost Box” responses opens up the issue of whether proper controls were used and the quality of the evidence review that was conducted. Even the most active places typically only yield just a few EVP'S at best.

From a metaphysical perspective, Psychic Medium, Virginia Centrillo determined that a negative spirit was drawn to the client's husband and as long as he was engaging in alcohol abuse and violent behavior, the paranormal activity would continue. This is a situation that would be impossible for The PPA to try and alleviate. Due to the behavior and lifestyles of several of the people living at the home, they are consciously or unconsciously allowing the activity to continue. If just one person in a family unit invites an entity into their lives knowingly or unknowingly but do not want to change their behavior to force it to go, the entity will remain or quickly return if it has been removed from the property or person. In this case, an entire family lifestyle change must first be completed before The PPA could try to successfully remove any negative energies. Family counseling is recommended to the client and her family and that in itself may stop the activity.
