Virginia: Refer to Psychic Impressions

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia arrived at the college, she started to get impressions of many layers of history that was moving though the campus. The first spirit to speak with Virginia was a man named Bryon. This male spirit spoke about the campus and the pride he took in his job. Virginia feels he was in charge of the college at one time. The spirit of Byron followed Virginia most of the night. Virginia also picked up an abundance of American Indian spirits roaming the campus combined with residual energy of the past. When walking the campus Virginia also witness spirit Cadets marching up the walkway in front of Sisson Hall. Virginia also picked up a male spirit name John. John told Virginia that he was very involved with a Baptist Church and the college. John told Virginia that he ran the college with a firm hand. Virginia feels John is still watching over the college.

Harris Hall: While outside, Virginia looked up at the building and noticed a man hanging out of the window from the attic. Virginia picked up that this man committed suicide in the attic of this building. Virginia felt this was a residual situation do to the intense emotion attached to the act and not a conscious spirit.

Ward Building - Basement: Virginia felt a male spirit in the basement that would hang around between the print shop, the boiler room and the photography classroom. Virginia feels this man was a janitor and loves to be in the print shop during the day with one of the men that works there. Virginia felt that at 12:00pm, this spirit goes across the hall and looks out the window and then returns and stays in the print shop until everyone leaves.

Ward Hall - First Floor: Virginia picked up an energy that she felt moves through the hall. Virginia believes that it is a ball of light that moves from one end of the hall to the other. Virginia also picked up that this energy/spirit does not like the doors unlocked, plays with the lights and moves things in the building.

Ward Hall - Second Floor: On the second floor, Virginia once again picked up on a ball of energy moving through the hallway. Virginia noticed a ghostly hand at the end of the hall coming from the stairwell on the left reaching for the door in front of her. When Virginia was standing behind Ward Hall, she received many impressions of the past. Virginia was seeing many log cabins built around water and a female spirit with the last name of “Capwell” spoke to Virginia about a cemetery that was up the hill behind the campus.

Capwell Hall - Basement: Virginia picked up a male spirit in this area that she believes was named “Daniel Capwell”. As she received this information, Virginia also picked up another male spirit that she felt was an American Indian protecting the area around the electrical room. Virginia also felt that Daniel Capwell likes to show himself from time to time throughout the building. Another name Virginia picked up that she felt was roaming the building was “Wallace”.

Capwell Hall – Second Floor Lab: Virginia picked up on a trapped male spirit who she felt was a teacher or professor and who loved to hang out around the Lab. Virginia also picked up many more souls moving in and out of the building but felt the lab was one of the most active areas. While Virginia was in the Lab, she picked up a female spirit whose name was “Leona”. Virginia related that Leona followed her for the rest of the night. Leona told Virginia the Cafeteria burned down and gave her details of the fire.

Capwell Hall - Attic and Third Floor: Virginia noticed the spirit of a little boy running the hallway of the third floor. He would run to the attic to hide. Virginia felt this little boy loved to play with the lights. Virginia also felt this boy was here a long time before the school was built. The name that Virginia received for this boy was “Nathaniel”.

Sisson Hall: The first thing Virginia noticed when she walked into this building was a young female spirit walking up the stairs in a beautiful Victorian dress. Virginia noticed this female loved to stand by the big stain glass window at the top of the stairs. Virginia picked up on another female spirit in this area named “Mary Evans”. Virginia felt that Mary seemed to be in charge. Virginia did not feel Mary was part of Sisson Hall at any time but loves to visit this building. Other names Virginia picked up in Sisson Hall were Edward, Henry, Cappy, Samuel, Edith, Elisabeth and Dorothy. Virginia felt that there were families and teachers that lived in this home at one time.

Sisson Hall - First Floor: Virginia felt a very strong male spirit roaming around between the office and kitchen. Virginia was getting the impression that he wasn’t happy that we were there. Virginia felt that this man’s name was “Blake” or “Drake” and that he was a Doctor. Virginia also picked up on a man who died of a heart attack and who was very involved with the college. Virginia felt this man owned a farm and was somehow involved with a church. Virginia believes that Sisson Hall was named after him.

Sisson Hall – Second Floor: Virginia again picked up a male spirit who was not happy with us being there. Virginia observed him by the stairs and the offices. Virginia then followed a female spirit named “Elisabeth” into the offices at the top of the stairs. Virginia felt Elisabeth loved to hang around the adjoining offices and liked one of the men that works in the office because of his accent.

Sisson Hall - Attic: Virginia picked up children running around in the attic and playing.

Arts Building: Virginia found the spirit of an American Indian girl on the second floor standing at the front windows. Virginia feels her mother waits for her behind the building and up the hill. Virginia believes this little American Indian girl is very friendly and is not afraid to be seen.

Moffat Hall: Virginia walked the grounds around Moffat Hall and picked up many spirits of American Indians and Soldiers. Virginia also picked up on several suicides that she felt were associated with Moffat Hall and the campus.

Moffat Hall - Second Floor: Virginia felt there was a female spirit trapped on the second floor named Heather. Virginia received impressions of her in the ladies room crying in the corner of the showers. Other names that Virginia picked up on around this area that were somehow associated with the school were: Pike, Miller, Finch, George Green and Bailey.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, a few personal experiences were noted but no physical evidence was documented. Investigators were not able to rule out any of the claims made by students or faculty from previous encounters. Much of the metaphysical information that Virginia was able to pick up on was validated by staff members through known historical information and by our Historical Research Director, Kelly Kalb. Although a predisposed, personal mind set may be at play for many people at the school due to years of reported sightings, it can not account for all the activity being reported. The PPA can not physically confirm or rule out that a haunting is present at the school. Additional time would need to be spent investigating each building to try and document physical activity to determine its cause. The PPA does not feel that there is anything malicious or harmful at the college and much of the activity that was being observed would certainly have as a cause, some level of residual energy from the years of history and emotions that a college setting would bring with it.

From a metaphysical perspective, Psychic Medium Virginia Centrillo feels Keystone College is alive with many spirits that pop in from time to time and other spirits that stayed on to watch and protect the people and the school. The heritage of this college will live on forever and the spirits will always keep it alive.
