Investigation Report

Location Status:
Unoccupied, three story federal style stone house built in the 1700’s.

Reported Activity:
Workers cutting grass in the yards around this building have reported seeing a young girl on multiple occasions on the upper floors, looking out the window and waving at them. The workers know this building to be unoccupied and secure but when checked, no one was in the house. On separate occasions, when workers have gone into the home, they have had very uneasy feelings. They get the feeling that they are not alone and are being watched. This is the second visit by the PPA to this location. By having an additional investigation, the clients hope to gain additional information as to what may be taking place in this residence.

AUDIO ANALYSIS:
VR1 - Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in first floor living room

VR2 - Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in third floor end bedroom on right
This device recorded what appears to be musical notes. The notes were physically heard by Stan at the other end of the house on the third floor and reported by Stan to sound like piano or harp notes. In the below clip, just after Stan asks Nicole, in the distance, if she hears something, two quick notes can initially be heard with a pop type sound right at 13 seconds and then four more notes at 20 seconds. The loud clicking, immediately after the first two sounds, are from a thermal camera recalibrating itself. The second clip is an amplified version with the last four notes being repeated twice with better clarity. The clip is best heard through headphones or higher quality computer speakers.

This device later captured what sounds like a short musical melody or humming while Virginia and Kelly were investigating on the second floor and not too long after Virginia reported hearing singing and began to sing along. Virginia can be heard talking in the background at the time of the recording. The sound starts at 4 seconds into the clip.

VR3 - Digital Voice Recorder: Stationary in second floor end bedroom to the right
This device recorded an anomaly that sound somewhat mechanical or electronic after Virginia says, “Hey Margaret”. The sound is a bit digital sounding but was not the result from any electronic equipment present. The sound also was picked up on a camcorder present with Virginia and Kelly but neither investigator had heard the sound when it occurred. The cause of the anomaly is unknown but it does not belong on the recorder as a normal sound of the home or investigation. The sound can be heard at 12 seconds into the clip.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the building with no fields detected. No anomalous EMF spikes were detected during the investigations.

Mark- Witnessed a light appear in the rear, left end bedroom, against the wall with no known origin. No outside traffic or lighting was observed upon checking outdoors. The affect could not be repeated by various illumination testing.

Stan- While investigating with Nicole on the third floor in the end bedroom on the left, Stan reported hearing a few single tones of what he described as piano notes being played. Stan indicated that the sounds would have been coming from his left. To Stan's left is the hallway, the staircase and the right end bedroom.

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia arrived at the home, the home felt as if it was saying hello to her, as if the home was alive. Virginia felt like spirit was welcoming PPA members back. During the investigation, Virginia received the following impressions:

Basement: When Virginia was in the basement of the home with Kelly, she kept picking up a male spirit hanging around the open well. Virginia felt the name of the male spirit was Joseph. Joseph was very intimidating and curious. Virginia felt he was a worker who helped run the home. As the investigation continued, Virginia also picked up another male spirit named Francis who told Virginia he wrote and illustrated books. Kelly, the PPA’s Historian, confirmed this information. Virginia also felt another male spirit named Thomas who, Virginia felt, was a slave at one point but was also was working around the home and land.

Third Floor Bedroom: Virginia felt more male spirits during this investigation then the first time but felt the spirit of the little girl named Margret who was identified during the first PPA investigation at this property, was very present in this bedroom.

Barn Area: When Virginia and Kelly were in the barn, they both felt very uncomfortable much like the last investigation. Virginia felt the spirit of a slave was hiding in the barn and was able to help him cross over. Virginia observed another slave watching them from darkest part of the barn but also felt that there were more slaves moving around the barn at times that have not been seen or discovered yet. While walking around outside, Virginia picked up a farmer moving around the property.

Outside in the back of the house: While Virginia and Kelly were sitting on the bench in the rear of the house, Virginia picked up on the spirit of the Mother of little girl named Margret. Virginia felt that this was where she would sit and morn for her daughter and Husband. Virginia felt great sorrow and loss while sitting there. Virginia also pick up that this was the residue of this spirits emotions. (Residual energy)

Second Floor Bedroom: When Virginia and Kelly were in the second floor bedroom on the right side of the house, Virginia felt the presence of a female spirit that was hanging around the bathroom in that bedroom. Virginia psychically felt and heard singing, so Virginia began to sing along as well.

Conclusion:
During the second investigation at this location on this particular date, investigators once again had a few personal experiences. Investigators physically heard music that was captured by an audio recorder and a light was observed at the end of a hallway that could not be replicated. No inside or outside light source would have been anywhere near that area to cause the illumination. Additional audio anomalies, such as a musical melody and an unexplained sound were recorded by our equipment in various parts of the building. The audio recordings were quite similar to prior audio recordings made during our first investigation at this location.

Metaphysically, Psychic Medium Virginia Centrillo picked up several spirits that she believed were present on the property. Virginia felt that a few of the same spirits she identified from the first investigation were still present, along with some additional spirits she had not encountered before. Virginia once again picked up singing in the right end of the home. This further corroborates the musical notes and melody that was picked up by our recorders

The PPA continues to collect information leaning towards paranormal activity occurring at this location. Once again, Virginia felt that there is nothing of a danger here and no reason for anyone visiting or working here to be afraid. Virginia feels that all the spirits are here because of their common love of the property and that they are very content with being at this location. Additional visits would prove to be valuable to further document ongoing activity.
