Reported Activity:
The fire station has been at this location for more than a hundred years.  During that time and even more recently, the members and visitors have reported being pushed, seeing apparitions and shadows, having feelings that they were not alone, hearing music and a lot of commotion as if people were dancing while no one was there. One firefighter had reported that he felt he was pushed down the stairs by an unseen force. The clients report that activity happens almost on a daily basis all through the day and night. Many people who have rented the social hall have also reported to the clients that they have had weird experiences there. By having an investigation, the clients are hoping to get verification that what is going on is paranormal and to find out who it is.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the building with expected spikes near electrical appliances. No levels of concern were detected.  An anomalous EMF was discovered in the area of the entry door to the old bar/social room on the second floor. As Virginia was picking on a spirit named “Paul” who had killed himself and who had entered the room we were in, Virginia stated she heard a bang like a gun shot. As Virginia was describing this Mark located an area of EMF with a dosimeter EMF meter and then it went away. Mark scanned to the left and re-located this field in the doorway to the old social/bar room. The field was constant for 4 or 5 seconds and then the dosimeter screen froze for an unknown reason. The EMF frequency was measured to be approximately 400 to 500Hz which is way out of the range of anything manmade or electrical. Sweeps of this area were made before and after this event with no EMF’S detected.  The source of the EMF could not be located.

Investigator Feelings / Personal Experiences:

Mark:  Mark reported identifying an anomalous EMF in the doorway area to the second floor old social/bar room while Virginia was describing a male entity named Paul entering that area.

Lauren: While investigating with Mark and Virginia in the second floor furnace area by the entry to the old social/bar room, Lauren reported seeing what looked like a shadow figure of a little child look in the room we were in from the vehicle bays and then pull back out of the doorway.  A substantial amount of time was spent trying to replicate this occurrence with no success. Exterior lighting and traffic was ruled out.

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia arrived at this location, she started to pick up many levels of history on what the building was use for prior to what it is now.  As Virginia began the initial walk-through, she picked up on a few spirits that still love to visit and check up on the firefighting equipment.

Attic: During the investigation while Virginia was in the attic, she picked up on a female spirit named “Alice” and the spirit of a little boy.  Virginia felt that the female spirit named Alice loved to look out the window towards the road.  Virginia also picked up another spirit named “Fred”.  Fred claimed to have pulled out many bodies from the lake.  Fred also told Virginia that he was a policeman and he knew a person named Fuller.

Stair well: As the investigation continued, Virginia came across a male spirit named “Paul”. Paul was hiding under the stairwell and claimed that he did something wrong.  Virginia asked Paul what he did and he told Virginia that he took his own life because he killed two men and hurt a woman named Freda.  Virginia asked Paul how he killed himself and told her that he shot himself.  One of the men that Paul killed was a police officer named John.  Virginia picked up John’s spirit who, Virginia felt, came back to complete his mission before he was killed and made his “arrest” of Paul on the other side and took Paul out of there.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, investigators were not able to rule out any of the reports by the clients as being caused by natural sources. Investigators did have two personal experiences throughout the night including one occurrence of an anomalous EMF being located in an area that Virginia stated a male spirit  had just come in to and Lauren seeing what appeared to be a shadow figure of a small child in that same area at a different time period.  

The experiences had by investigators did seem to back up witness accounts that have been reported.

From a metaphysical perspective, Psychic Medium Virginia Centrillo picked up several spirits that she felt were at this location. Some were just past members of the fire department checking on from time to time but others appeared to be earthbound and in need of being released from this location. Virginia and members of the PPA worked on clearing the property of the trapped spirits and Virginia felt she was successful at clearing those that wanted to go.  Virginia believes the remaining spirits are all positive and just people who were once associated with the fire department. Because of the history of this location, Virginia feels that there will always be activity.
