Location Status:
Two story, three bedroom house with a full basement and attic. The home is occupied by two parents, their adult daughter and her eight year old son. The family also has a pet dog.

 
Reported Activity:
The clients report that they have been in this house for over 20 years. The activity has been occurring sporadically for many years, mostly in the evening but also throughout the day.   The clients have reported seeing an apparition of a man with a mustache, they have heard what sounds like footsteps up and down the main staircase, and they have heard banging and knocking on walls and doors.  The clients have reported seeing a black mass in various areas of the home, have heard talking with no one there and have observed the family dogs barking and growling at something but nothing was there.  By having an investigation, the clients are hoping to identify who or what is in the home and to help any spirits move on if they need help.

EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field):
Standard baseline readings were taken throughout the home with expected spikes near electrical appliances.  No levels of concern detected. During one point in the investigation,

Investigator Feelings / Personal Experiences:

Mark:  While investigating in the basement with Virginia and Nicole, Virginia remarked that she felt a presence behind her near the back of the basement. Just at that moment, a Rempod in place at that location activated for several seconds. Upon further investigating, no source of the activation could be found. No additional activations occurred during the investigation.

Nicole:  Along with observing the above event, Nicole was present in the living room area with Virginia. Virginia remarked that the spirit of a woman liked to stand in front of the window and watch outside. Shortly after, a Rempod that was placed in that area activated for several seconds. No source of the activation could be found and no additional activations occurred during the investigation.

Psychic Impressions:
When Virginia began the initial walk through of the home she picked up a female spirit who loved to sit by the living room window and stare at the house next door. Virginia felt this female spirit was very confused when she died. Virginia also picked up two male spirits who were connected to this female spirit. As Virginia continued her walk through, she came across a young male spirit who took his own life. This male spirit was very connected to the client’s son and was later identified as the client’s son’s best friend. Virginia also picked up a female spirit named “Patty” who Virginia felt was the next door neighbor. Virginia believed Patty was not trapped but was just there saying hello. The clients confirmed all the above information. Virginia felt that there was a black mass type of figure moving through the home that seemed to be attracted to the adult daughter because of her current life situation and emotional well-being. Virginia did not feel this was harmful to the family but fed off of the emotional state the daughter was in and further enhanced the daughter’s emotions at the same time.

Front Bedroom: During the investigation, Virginia sat in the front bedroom. This room used to be the client’s son’s room. The young man who took his life began giving information on his life to Virginia at this time. Nicole, one the PPA investigators, suddenly realized that she was familiar with this young man when he was alive. Nicole was able to confirm the information that Virginia was receiving from this young man. After talking with this spirit, Virginia felt his parents, who had already passed on, were waiting for him on the other side. With the help of Mark and Nicole, Virginia was able to help cross this young man over on the spot and in peace.

Living room: As the investigation continued in the living room, Virginia again began picking up on the two male spirits who she identified in the initial walk through. Virginia felt that the two male spirits were there waiting for the female spirit to move into the light.

Conclusion:
During the investigation on this particular date, investigators had two similar personal experiences that coincided with information that Virginia was reporting. On both instances, Rempods activated shortly after on the first event and immediately after on the second event when Virginia spoke about energies being in those areas. Investigators were not able to document any evidence to confirm a haunting was taking place.  Additionally, investigators were not able to rule out any of the reports of activity from the clients and no evidence was found to rule out the possibility that a haunting was taking place. From a physical perspective, this situation is undetermined at this time and additional investigating would be required to confirm or dismiss a haunting by physical means.

From a metaphysical perspective, Virginia validated the activity that had been reported by the clients and identified several spirits who she felt were coming into the residence for various reasons and who were unable to move on.

 With the help of PPA members, Virginia was able to cross over the female spirit, along with the two male spirits that were with her in addition to the younger male who she had released earlier in the evening.

Virginia recommends that the owner look up information on Feng Shui convex mirrors and use because of their protective qualities that serve as a watchful eye and deflect energy away from the home. Virginia feels the mirrors should be placed over the front entry door and in the back of the house over the rear door to help ward off stray or trapped spirits. Due to the age and history of this home, Virginia has provided information to the clients on how to keep up the energies in the home. Virginia also recommended books to help the family with their own gifts. Virginia also feels that these books will teach them how to protect themselves and also to help their young grandson with his own gifts. Additional assistance will be provided to the adult daughter to help deal with the black mass attracted to her.
