The Easiest Way To Avoid Psychic Scams: Everyone Can Do This

Sadly, psychic scams are more common than you might think and can cost individuals tens of thousands of dollars, or more. Last month, a woman in Maryland fell victim to paying a scamming psychic $82,000 to rid her of dark energies allegedly. Scamming psychics can use fear and the promise of a cure to part citizens with their money.

The good news is that there are ways for you to identify psychic scammers. You don’t need to call in the experts to tell when someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Use these strategies. The most powerful one is the easiest, and we’ll explain it first. The rest can be used to confirm for yourself whether or not the psychic is legitimate. True psychic mediums want to help you, not take money from you.

The Easiest Way

When doubt creeps into your mind about a psychic service, listen to it. That doesn’t mean that you make a decision right away. Instead, listen to the nagging internal questions, and follow them deeper.

For example, if you find that the question pops up: “Why do I have to pay ten dollars up front?” Be still for a moment and see you have any concerns that are hiding behind it. Your intuition might be trying to tell you something!

It is essential to make time for this inner dialogue because if you merely rush to a conclusion, you might be missing the golden nugget of information hidden in your intuitive guidance. You might think a surface-level doubt and decide to not go with a service, but on the deeper level you feel the service is legitimate, but you don’t want to find out the truth.

Confirm Your Intuition

The next step is to confirm your intuition through logic and reason. You can do that in the following ways:

Look into the background of the service or product. When did it first arrive on the market? What is the story behind it? Are there legitimate photographs and testimonials?

Take small steps.  Only purchase a small sample of the service, and see for yourself whether it offers any insight into your life. If not, pass on the more expensive services.

Talk to experts. Research shows that it takes about ten years to become an expert. If you are new to psychic readings, then talk to someone who has worked in the metaphysical space for at least ten years to confirm your intuition about a specific situation.

Talk to customers. Contact other clients of the particular psychic you are interested in. If you are at a physical location that may be as easy as striking up a conversation with a person as they walk out the doors. Online, you can reach out to people that leave comments on a particular site.

Ask for references. Explain that you are new to the field and would love some references so that you feel more comfortable. If they cannot oblige, that is a sign that they have something to hide.

You are the best resource for yourself when it comes to avoiding psychic scams. Trust your gut and look deeply into the doubts that you harbor. What are the uncertainties based on? Confirm your hunch with a touch of research. Do some digging. This way, when you put yourself in the hands of a psychic, you’ll know that their words will genuinely benefit you on all levels.
